Hull woman charged with larceny and check fraud
Created by CPD on 8th December 2009, 2:17 amCOHASSET, MA – A Hull, MA woman was charged in criminal complaints in Quincy District Court on December 4, 2009 with uttering a false check, larceny of property under $250, and receiving stolen property under $250 (4 counts).
That complaint alleges that on October 15, 2009 HEATHER A. VERGOBBE passed a stolen check belonging to a Scituate, MA, woman at Stop and Shop in Cohasset. On October 17, 2009, Cohasset Police detectives executed a search warrant at VERGOBBE’s residence where items belonging to the victim were recovered.
If convicted of the charges, VERGOBBE faces up to ten years in prison.
The case was investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division.
