Cash register stolen from local business

Cohasset - Cohasset Police Detectives are investigating an early morning breaking and entering that occurred on Monday, Feb. 15, sometime between the hours of 2am and 4am.

Police responded to the Cohasset Confectionary Company, 13 Depot Court, in Cohasset Village, after the owner of the business discovered that someone had entered the business and stole a cash register that contained a small amount of money.

Cohasset Detectives responded to the business and processed the scene. There is an on-going investigation. The owners of the Cohasset Confectionary Company also own “5 South Main”, a popular restaurant in Cohasset Village. The Confectionary Company sells candy and ice cream, while 5 South Main serves breakfast and lunch.
